Boat cushions made of fabric and faux leather are exposed to many external factors such as humidity, dirt, UV rays, and weather conditions, so it is important to maintain them regularly to extend their lifespan. Here are some tips for caring for your boat cushions.

Regularly clean cushions covered with coated leather using a mild cleaner such as soapy water and a sponge or cloth. For stubborn stains, if you have faux leather cushions, avoid using abrasive cleaning products and oils that can damage the surface of the faux leather. Instead, use a cleaner designed for faux leather and wipe carefully after cleaning. For fabric cushions, they have an additive that makes them water-repellent without changing their texture, which remains that of the fabric. In case of a stain or spilled liquid, first absorb the liquid with a paper towel or scrape off the spilled material with the back of a knife blade. Once this step is done, you can scrub with a sponge and soapy water. Our fabrics are washable at 40°C, so you can machine wash them, but be sure not to tumble dry them.

When outdoors, protect the cushions from UV rays by storing them inside or covering them with a cover when not in use.

During the winter season, remember to store the cushions in a dry and ventilated place to avoid mold or unpleasant odors.

If your cushions need to be replaced, choose our materials that are resistant to weather and UV rays.
