Description
The cover protects the seat and/or backrest of your boat seat.
If the seat cushion is removable, the cover protects only the backrest, which can be stored away.
It is essential to cover the seat’s vinyl upholstery between uses. Without protection from UV rays, water and salt air, the upholstery will fade, crack and split, allowing water to seep into the foam and the plastic or wooden supports, which will deteriorate.
Our assembly techniques ensure that our covers are tear-resistant, wind-resistant and waterproof. They fold up and store away easily.
All the materials we use are marine-grade. We use the best materials to ensure a durable product.
All of them effectively protect your boat.
Your choice depends on the material and therefore its price.
- Tarpaulin, made from double-coated polyester. Lightweight at 325 g/m² (half the weight of truck tarpaulin), it folds easily. A tarpaulin cover is waterproof and offers the best price, but it can cause condensation.
- Woven-look material, made from polyester coated on the inside. Lightweight at 300 g/m², it folds easily. This material offers excellent waterproofing while allowing a little breathability.
- Fabric made from solution-dyed acrylic yarns. Lightweight at 320 g/m², it is less flexible to fold when new. This fabric is both waterproof and breathable, helping to prevent condensation.
The cover is always assembled using UV-treated sail thread and polyester webbing for UV resistance.
All the hardware needed to screw the cover onto your boat is included, including stainless steel screws.
