SEPARABLE zippers (meaning each side of the zipper can detach; for example, to close your jacket, a separable zipper is sewn) are available from 0.25 to 26m. The availability of these large lengths allows you to replace the existing zippers on your lazy bag or your genoa covers.
A single-puller slider is mounted on the zipper. You can replace it with a double-puller slider which can also be ordered on our website, by clicking here.

9mm separable zipper. Nylon tape and plastic teeth with a width of 10mm, UV-treated for outdoor use.
If you need a zipper of a custom size, you can shorten it by cutting at the slider and making a stop by sewing a piece of tape on each side. This way, you get a zipper that corresponds to the desired size.
Handling the zipper
Always use both hands when pulling the zipper slider, one hand holding the fabric and the other pulling the slider.
Do not attach a cord to the pull tab hole but to the body of the slider.
Never try to forcibly slide a zipper that has something stuck in it; you risk bending the slider and preventing the teeth from interlocking.
Zipper maintenance:
To provide exceptional smoothness to your zippers, remember to regularly spray them with a teflon spray, which you can also purchase on our site by clicking here
Exposed to salt and sand, it is necessary to lubricate zippers, and definitely not with a petroleum-based product like WD40 but with PTFE commonly called teflon.
If a tooth breaks, the entire zipper must be replaced.
If it is only the slider, it is replaceable.
