Semi-rigid sun awning

Who hasn't dreamed of equipping their rigid inflatable boat with a bimini to protect themselves from the sun both at anchor and while sailing.

But attaching hoops to the tubes presents several drawbacks:
- It is a procedure that involves gluing plates and can only be done by professionals.
- It is inconvenient and bulky when folded
- And it is quite an expensive accessory.

To meet the desire to protect oneself from heat and sun rays, SNA has developed this flexible and lightweight fabric without structure that installs simply using the boat's existing attachment points. It is just as easy to remove.
Our customers confirm that the assembly or disassembly takes only 2 minutes.

The concept is a rectangle of fabric with a sleeve at each end into which you slide a 10 or 12mm diameter batten rod. This fabric features adjustable straps with buckle loops on each width. The straps wrap around the tubes and tighten.
When choosing your size, make sure to select a dimension that leaves an uncovered space of 14cm to allow the fabric to be properly tensioned.
If you choose a size that is too large or exactly tube to tube, the fabric will be installed but will flap in the wind, allowing water to get in and preventing you from keeping it up while sailing.

To stabilize the fabric, each length is equipped with loops through which you slide a line to attach to the handles or the grab rail. Alternatively, you can fix this line to hooks that clip into the gutter of the rubbing strake (which runs around the tube).

- The fabric available in 5 sizes and 2 colors: gray or black
- Optional mounting kit consisting of 6m of gray 6mm diameter rope, 4 hooks for inflatable boats, 2.5m of 4mm diameter shock cord.
- Optional 2 batten rods of 10 or 12mm diameter, each 140cm long
