What is a lazy bag, also called an Easy bag?
The lazy bag is an adaptation of the traditional mainsail cover. This sail cover works with a lazy jack system that simplifies and makes the hoisting and lowering of the mainsail safer.
The lazybag fits into the boom groove, it is suspended by the lazy jacks which are a system of thin ropes connected at the spreaders, it is stiffened by battens and the reefing lines pass through the cover.

To read before ordering (valid for all 3 models):
• The lazybag suitable for a sail with a loose foot, The throat of the boom is therefore free and can receive the bolt rope of the lazybag. If your sail has a bolt rope that is slid into the boom,then choose the option "sail with a bolt rope edge".
We will make the following modification: the edging usually sewn onto the lazybag will be replaced by a PVC strip, and at the same time, you will slide the PVC strip, which will encase the sail's luff rope, into the boom's track.
• The slats are neither provided nor sold on our site due to transportation cost reasons. It is more economical to reuse your existing slats or, if you do not have any, to buy them locally. The lazybag It is equipped with 2 Dacron sleeves accommodating batten rods up to 14mm in diameter and/or flat battens of 30mm. For boats under 36 feet, a diameter of 10mm for the battens is sufficient. A diameter of 12mm is suitable up to 45 feet. If larger dimensions are needed, please let us know. The batten is secured by a Velcro flap, and the bottom of the sleeve is heavily reinforced to prevent the batten from piercing through.
• For attaching the lazyjacks, we ask you to indicate their number on the measurement sheet. These are choked loops made of very thick 25mm polyester webbing, sewn onto a PVC reinforcement. They ensure the connection lazybag/lazyjack with a bowline knot that you will tie.
• The attachment system called lazy jack is not provided; please order it on our website if your boat is not already equipped with one.
• The lazybag It is made from a single piece. When sailing, to prevent the part protecting the headrest from flapping in the wind, simply fold the excess fabric inside the bag and fasten the quick-release straps in front of the mast.
• The package measures: length 40/45cm x width 40cm x height 20cm - Average weight: 4 to 6kg
