Regularly clean the genoa sleeve fabric with fresh water or, if it is very dirty, using water and mild soap. Alternatively, you can purchase here the specific care product for water-repellent fabrics.

Regularly check the condition of the attachments and fastenings of the sleeve, as they can loosen in the wind, and a poorly tightened sleeve may damage the foresail in strong winds. The cord used for lacing typically needs to be replaced every 5 years. You can simply order it here and replace it if necessary.
