To maintain your lazybag, here are some steps to follow:

Regularly clean the lazybag with a water jet, as you do for the entire boat, especially after a trip at sea. You can use a little mild soap if necessary, but avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the fabric.

When you take down your sails, take the opportunity to also store the lazybag away from direct sunlight and in a dry place.

If the lazybag is very dirty or has been exposed to bad weather, you can wash it with a soft brush using a liquid soap specially designed for this purpose, which you can purchase here. Make sure to rinse it well and dry it completely before storing.

Do not machine wash or machine dry it under any circumstances. The treatment that coats the fabric would be damaged.

Regarding the zipper sewn along the entire length of your lazybag, it is highly recommended to maintain it by applying a Teflon spray, and never use an oil-based lubricant.

If your lazybag is damaged in any way, have it repaired promptly to prevent the problem from worsening.
