A dodger for a sailboat is equipment that protects the interior of the boat from the weather in all situations, whether it is docked, anchored, or sailing. It is a canvas stretched over the dodger (roof) of the cabin, secured by hoop-type supports on the boat It can be easily lowered when the boat is underway, especially during regattas, or even completely removed for winter storage. It is absolutely not recommended to leave it lowered for more than 2 days. Otherwise, the transparent vinyl windows will deform in a way that may become permanent.

Designing a boat dodger is the most challenging task in our profession. No fewer than 60 pieces must be designed to ultimately form a three-dimensional piece. Each boat model has its own dodger when its deck configuration allows for one.

There are few manufacturers of sailboat dodgers on the market, each offering products of varying quality and prices. To find the best manufacturer, it is important to consider several factors:
