The spray Hood includes:

• a structure made of 316L stainless steel hoops (the only type resistant to salty air), with tube diameters of 25mm. The hoops are delivered already connected by 316L stainless steel joints, ready to be inserted into the articulated plates to be screwed onto the roof.
• the acrylic coated fabric canvas.
  It is an assembly of 78 pieces of fabric including
  • the marine canvas itself, with the exterior made of fabric and the interior fabric coated to make it waterproof,
  • the 1mm transparent crystal, UV treated. The glazed parts of the capote ensure optimal visibility. Crew members can monitor surrounding traffic, the heading, and sail trim while staying protected.
  • reinforcements placed at strategic points known to wear prematurely. The sides of the capote are fully reinforced as they suffer the most from the elements and deteriorate the fastest.
  • The capote is entirely piped for a perfect aesthetic and durable finish.
  • The stitching is done with UV-treated sail thread, ensuring it will not unravel prematurely due to the effects of the sun, moon, and saltwater.
• the installation hardware, made of 316L stainless steel, including the mounting plates for the stainless steel tubes, and various accessories such as rails, tenax fasteners, screw-in snaps, and canvas buttons. Each capote model includes all or part of this hardware.
• the installation plan. This diagram shows you where to drill. The installation methodology for our capotes is sent to you by email along with this installation plan at the time your capote is shipped.

We take great care in packaging the hoops to ensure the stainless steel structure does not deform during transport.
The entire capote is shipped to you by carrier within 8 weeks.

Please note that the lifespan of a capote canvas is 10 years and we provide replacement canvases for our capotes.
