Fender: to protect your hull in all circumstances

The SNA boat fender acts as a shock absorber when arriving at a dock. Thus, when you enter your berth or dock at a pontoon, the fender guarantees optimal protection of the boat's hull in case of a bad maneuver or a slightly too fast approach. In addition to protecting your boat, the fender ensures that you do not damage other boats in the harbor.

The fender is also essential to avoid rubbing boat against boat or boat against pontoon when you are docked or moored alongside. Without protection, marks from rubbing and impacts will immediately appear on the boat's hull.

Fender for rigid inflatable boats

SNA has also developed a fender system specially made for rigid inflatable boats. The SNA rigid inflatable boat fender consists of several rectangular parts connected to each other to form a single unit. This fender system guarantees optimal protection for the boat by perfectly fitting the shape of the inflatable. Moreover, this fender stays perfectly in place no matter what happens, unlike articulated fenders which can roll on the inflatable and/or rise out of the water.

The flat fender: a potential walkway to access the pontoon

SNA fenders also have the advantage of being able to serve as a walkway between the boat and the pontoon or catway. Indeed, while traditionally the fender is cylindrical or spherical in shape, SNA has chosen to develop flat fenders. Depending on the width and length of the fenders, it is thus possible to walk on them to reach the pontoon.

Good to know: to increase the length of the floating walkway, it is possible to assemble several flat fenders together.

Foil fender:

Carbon foils are so expensive and long to produce that you must not risk not protecting them. SNA manufactures the appropriate foil protections for offshore racing teams.

Inflatable fender:

Thanks to its small size when deflated, it will follow you to the ends of the earth. Easy to take out, inflate, and install as soon as you dock far from your base.
It is the most robust on the market, with a traction on each attachment point approved at 600kg and the only boat fender made of Hypalon.
Its great asset is that it is easily transportable.
