If despite this the sail cover does not fit properly, you can send it back to us for modification. At SNA, we understand that mistakes can happen and we are here to find a solution with our customers. Our response will differ depending on whether you have ordered a standard product or a custom-made product.

To return a standard product, we ask that you contact us Monday through Friday to obtain a return authorization. The product must then be returned in its original packaging, unused, and in perfect condition.

Once the product has been received and inspected by the company, it will be refunded to your credit card, by bank transfer, or by check.

It is important to note that shipping costs for returning the product are generally the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective or there was an error on our part.

Due to their customized nature, it is difficult to accept returns and issue refunds for items that SNA has designed and manufactured according to the customer's specifications. In such cases, we try to find a solution to modify what does not meet your expectations. If there was an error on our part during customization, we will take responsibility for this mistake by offering you the choice to either receive a refund or have the product remade.

Taking measurements on your boat is preferable, but please know that we also have an alternative solution

When you purchase a lazy bag for your boat, it is important to take measurements of your sail in place in order to have a custom-made product. Indeed, not all sails are the same, so it is essential to take exact measurements to ensure a perfect fit.

Have you ever seen those mainsail headboards sticking out of the lazy bag because it is not suited to the sail’s dimensions?

However, there may be times when you are unable to take measurements of your sail in place, for example if your boat is located too far away. In this case, it is possible to purchase a standard lazy bag that does not require measurements. Although these products are not as customized as those made to measure, they can still provide a good solution to protect your sail when you are not sailing. The main risk for a sail is damage from UV rays, and the fabric used in all our lazy bag models is guaranteed to block all UV rays.


How to know if you manufacture cushions for my boat?

I recommend following these steps by conducting an online search to find information about the cushions available for your boat.

These cushions either replace the old, worn cushions of your sailboat, rigid inflatable boat, or motoryacht, or they are a first-time equipment—for example, your motoryacht may not yet have a sunbed, or your sailboat has never been equipped with cockpit cushions.

Your boat is too far away, SNA has a lazy bag for you

By standard lazy bag, we mean a lazy bag made according to standard dimensions that we have defined because we know they will fit all furled sail volumes.

This is the solution when you cannot take measurements on board your sailboat.

When you purchase a standard lazy bag to protect your sail when you are not sailing, there are several factors to consider to ensure that the standard lazy bag you have chosen will fit your sail.

You should know that it consists of two parts: the cover and the body. You order the length of the lazy bag that fits within the offered range, varying in 50cm increments, corresponding to the length of the boom. The cover partially or fully overlaps the body of the lazy bag. SNA has sized the body of the lazy bag so that the cover fully covers the front of your sail. You don’t need to worry about this; we have done the necessary calculations. You only need to choose the size that corresponds to your boom length. (This length goes from the back of the mast to the clew, which you exceed without going beyond the topping lift.)

You should also know that this lazy bag is a summer lazy bag. It is made from the same quality materials as all our lazy bags but does not include reinforcements. Therefore, it is not designed to remain in place permanently as it cannot withstand strong winds and storms.

Finally, please note that it is configured for a sail with a loose foot. If your sail is bolt-rope footed in the boom, you need to select this additional option.
