Using a mooring cover is one of the most effective ways to protect your boat from the sun’s rays, rain, and other elements that can damage the hull and upholstery. Polyester is a commonly used material for boat construction. Although it is UV resistant, it can degrade over time due to exposure to the elements. UV rays can cause fading and deterioration of the polyester surface. Using a mooring cover protects the polyester surface from UV rays, thereby extending the lifespan of your boat.

This protective cover covers your boat from front to back except for the balconies. It is perfectly fitted, which is a mark of quality in design and will allow it to protect your boat from weather and sun for a long time.

Our boat cover is made to your preference either:

• in marine-grade polyester tarpaulin coated on both sides, weighing 325g/m² and in gray color.
• or in polyester fabric which has the appearance of textile.

To ensure its hold, all naturally existing attachment points on the boat are utilized to avoid making new holes.

The marine fabric is secured at the cleats and the feet of the balconies either by:
- straps that wrap around the stainless steel balconies and/or cleats and are threaded through a ladder lock buckle and then tightened firmly. (the ladder lock is the flat buckle you find on backpacks, for example)
- bungee cords that wrap around the stainless steel balconies and/or cleats passing through eyelets.

Each cover is custom made because we take into account the nautical equipment of your boat (photos required). By nautical equipment, we mean: bimini, arches, roll bar, tow mast, navigation lights, antenna, etc. Please specify any particular features when ordering.

This protective tarpaulin is to be used on land or at anchor. It should not remain on the boat during transport, for two reasons: first, for safety reasons, the cover should not come loose, and second, the friction caused by speed could damage the boat’s surface, causing premature wear.

It is important to note that the tarpaulin is not designed to withstand strong winds such as storms, cyclones, hurricanes. It must be removed before bad weather.

The effect of strong wind is amplified when the boat is on a cradle on land, meaning elevated, and even more so if it is not facing the prevailing wind.
