Description
The roof canopy includes:
- a structure made of 316L stainless steel hoops (the only type resistant to salty air), with 25mm diameter tubes. The hoops are delivered already connected by 316L stainless steel joints, ready to be inserted into the hinged plates to be screwed onto the roof.
- the acrylic coated fabric canvas.
It is an assembly of 78 pieces of fabric including:- the marine canvas itself, with the exterior made of fabric and the interior coated with a waterproof layer,
- the 1mm transparent crystal, UV treated. The glazed parts of the canopy ensure optimal visibility. Crew members can monitor surrounding traffic, heading, and sail trim while staying protected.
- reinforcements placed at strategic points known for premature wear. The sides of the canopy are fully reinforced as they endure the most exposure to the elements and deteriorate the fastest.
- The canopy is entirely trimmed for a perfect aesthetic and durable finish.
- The stitching is done with UV-treated sail thread, ensuring it will not come undone prematurely due to sun, moon, or saltwater exposure.
- the installation hardware, made of 316L stainless steel, including mounting plates for the stainless steel tubes, and various accessories such as rails, tenax fasteners, screw-in snaps, and canvas buttons. Each canopy model includes all or part of this hardware.

- Intense interview
- Prepare a solution with 1/10 bleach, 2/10 soap, and 7/10 water. Gently scrub. Let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow to air dry. Re-waterproof with TEX'AKTIV GUARD, available on our website.
