Description

The roof canopy includes:

  • a structure made of 316L stainless steel arches (the only type resistant to salty air), with tube diameters of 25mm. The arches are delivered already connected by 316L stainless steel joints, ready to be inserted into the hinged plates to be screwed onto the roof.
  • the acrylic coated fabric.
    It is an assembly of 78 pieces of fabric including
    • the marine fabric itself, with the exterior made of fabric and the interior made of fabric coated to make it waterproof,
    • the 1mm transparent crystal, treated with UV protection. The glazed parts of the canopy ensure optimal visibility. Crew members can monitor surrounding traffic, the heading, and sail trim while staying protected.
    • reinforcements placed at strategic points known to wear out prematurely. The sides of the canopy are fully reinforced as they suffer the most from the elements and deteriorate the fastest.
    • The canopy is entirely piped for a perfect aesthetic and durable finish.
    • The stitching is done with UV-treated sail thread, ensuring it will not come undone prematurely due to sun, moon, or saltwater exposure.
  • the installation hardware, made of 316L stainless steel, including the mounting plates for the stainless steel tubes, and various accessories such as rails, tenax fasteners, screw-in snaps, and canvas buttons. Each canopy model includes all or part of this hardware.
  • the installation plan. This diagram shows you where to drill. The installation methodology for our canopies is sent to you by email along with this installation plan at the time your canopy is shipped.

We take great care in packaging the arches to ensure the stainless steel structure does not deform during transport.
The entire canopy is shipped to you by carrier within 8 weeks.

Please note that the lifespan of a canopy fabric is 10 years, and we provide replacement fabrics for our canopies.
