Description
The roof canopy includes:
- a structure made of 316L stainless steel hoops (the only type resistant to salty air), with 25mm diameter tubes. The hoops are delivered already connected by 316L stainless steel joints, ready to be inserted into the hinged plates to be screwed onto the roof.
- the acrylic coated fabric canvas.
It is an assembly of 78 pieces of fabric including:- the marine canvas itself, with the exterior made of fabric and the interior coated with a waterproof layer,
- the 1mm transparent crystal, treated with UV protection. The glazed parts of the canopy ensure optimal visibility. Crew members can monitor surrounding traffic, heading, and sail trim while staying sheltered.
- reinforcements placed at strategic points known to wear prematurely. The sides of the canopy are fully reinforced as they endure the most exposure to the elements and deteriorate the fastest.
- The canopy is entirely trimmed for a perfect, durable, and aesthetic finish.
- The stitching is done with UV-treated sail thread, ensuring it will not unravel prematurely due to the effects of sun, moon, and saltwater.

We take great care in packaging the hoops to ensure the stainless steel structure does not deform during transport.

- Prepare a mixture with water and soap (or Tex'Aktiv clean). Gently scrub and let it act on the fabric. Rinse thoroughly with clear water. Let air dry.
- Intense interview
- Prepare a solution with 1/10 bleach, 2/10 soap, and 7/10 water. Gently scrub. Let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow to air dry. Re-waterproof with TEX'AKTIV GUARD, available on our website.
