Description
Imagine a cover that goes beyond simple protection against the elements. Our marine covers are premium shields for your nautical investment.
Made from highly durable materials, they are specifically designed to withstand the harshness of the marine environment. Whether it's the UV rays of the sun or moon, salty humidity, unexpected showers, bird droppings, or fallen leaves, our boat tarps are designed to protect your vessel against all the challenges the sea can present.
The boat cover made by SNA is made from a nautical-grade material, composed of polyester coated with PVC on both sides and lightweight, 325g/m², which is half the weight of a truck tarp. The color is gray.
The cover protects the entire boat, from the front (from the bow roller which remains accessible in 95% of our covers) to the transom, excluding the engine so it can be fully lifted. You will find covers to protect your outboard motor on our website.
The tarp is attached to the float's fender (also called the anti-snag strip, it absorbs shocks rather than having the float in direct contact) by hooks held together with a bungee cord. For balanced fastening, the bungee (thick elastic) passes through eyelets distributed around the perimeter of the tarp. To prevent the stainless steel eyelets from contacting the float, we sew a PVC flap underneath the eyelets. The plastic hooks attach to the gutter located under the fender. For all fastening details, please refer to our video installation tutorial.
You will notice that installing the boat cover requires no drilling.
We use all the existing natural attachment points on your inflatable boat.
The cover made for you following your order is a custom-made cover, meaning that it takes into account the specific features of your Medline 580 boat.
We check the position of the console when it is bolted, the presence of a bimini, a roll-bar, railings...
For example, the position of the console when it is not molded must be confirmed with a measurement form that we send you after your order or that you can fill out immediately by downloading it.
The bimini and roll-bar options must be indicated by selecting the option when adding the product to your cart. There is also a measurement form to fill out so we can plan the necessary openings for the roll-bar feet.
We anticipate everything as much as possible so that you are fully satisfied with your purchase.
The boat cover is equipped with a vent to ensure ventilation under the cover.
All seams are made with UV-resistant sail thread, which ensures great longevity for the covers.
The cover is delivered to you in a bag.
This SNA nautical accessory goes beyond simple seasonal protection. It preserves the value of your investment by minimizing wear caused by the elements. Your boat stays in better condition, ready to sail. In addition to protecting your boat, our cover also offers practical benefits. Easy to handle, you can put it in place between launches during the season.
Please note that this full cover must be removed for road transport.
During navigation periods, it is also useful to have console and seat covers that you put on each evening instead of using the mooring cover.
Finally, you can be reassured by the exceptional quality of our boat cover, also commonly called a mooring cover, even though it is more difficult to install when the boat is in the water. Made by our company SNA in Morbihan, which is a trusted company with 13 years of experience dedicated to customer satisfaction.
