In case of heavy rain, leaks may occur due to the spray effect, which is attributable to the lack of a polyurethane coating on the fabric, making the material more breathable.
4. A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating is applied on both sides, creating a water-beading effect. However, this feature fades over time and can be reapplied. It is important to note that this does not affect the fabric's inherent water resistance. Additionally, to prevent mold formation, an antifungal agent is also applied.

Maintenance of this nautical fabric is simple and effective:

1. Clean locally using a soapy solution made of a mild detergent and warm water.
2. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove the soap, then let air dry.
3. In case of mold stains, prepare a solution with one (1) cup of bleach and half (1/2) cup of mild detergent for 4 liters of water.
