Flat deck cover for Prua Al Vento Huracan 5.7

Using a mooring cover is one of the most effective ways to protect your boat from the sun's rays, rain and other elements that can damage the hull and upholstery. Polyester is a material commonly used in boat construction. Although it is resistant to UV rays, it can deteriorate over time due to exposure to the elements. UV rays can cause fading and damage to the polyester surface. Using a mooring cover protects the polyester surface from UV rays, helping to extend the life of your boat.

When you invest in a Huracan 5.7 boat, it's essential to protect it from the elements.

This full boat cover, from bow to stern, excluding the railings, helps protect your boat from bad weather, dirt and UV damage.

Our boat cover is made to suit your needs, in either:

• double-coated, marine-grade polyester tarpaulin, weighing 325 g/m².
• or polyester fabric with a woven-fabric look

We use the boat's existing attachment points to secure the mooring cover, so no drilling is required.

The marine fabric is secured around the cleats and the bases of the railings using either:
- Straps wrapped around the stainless-steel railings and/or cleats, then threaded through a ladder-lock buckle and pulled tight. (A ladder-lock is the flat buckle commonly found on backpacks, for example.)
- Bungee cords threaded through eyelets and wrapped around the stainless-steel railings and/or cleats.

Each cover is made to measure to accommodate your boat's equipment (photos required). This includes equipment such as a bimini, frames, roll bar, tow pylon, navigation light, antenna, etc. Please specify any requirements when placing your order.

This protective cover is intended for use on land or while moored. It must not be left on the boat during transport for two reasons: first, for safety, to prevent the cover from coming loose; and second, friction at speed could damage the boat's surface and cause premature wear.

Please note that the cover is not designed to withstand strong winds, such as those during storms, cyclones or hurricanes. It must be removed before these weather conditions arrive.

Strong winds have a greater impact when the boat is on land on a raised boat stand, and even more so if it is not facing into the prevailing wind.
