Using a mooring cover is one of the most effective ways to protect your boat from sun rays, rain, and other elements that can damage the hull and upholstery. Polyester is a commonly used material in boat construction. Although it is UV resistant, it can degrade over time due to exposure to the elements. UV rays can cause fading and deterioration of the polyester surface. Using a mooring cover protects the polyester surface from UV rays, thereby extending the lifespan of your boat.

This full boat cover, from bow to stern except for the balconies, protects your boat from weather, external dirt, and UV-related damage.

Our boat cover is made to your specifications either:

• in marine-grade polyester tarpaulin coated on both sides, weighing 325g/m².
• or in polyester fabric that has the look of textile

To ensure proper fit, all naturally existing attachment points on the boat are utilized to avoid drilling.

The marine fabric is secured at the cleats and balcony feet either by:
- Straps that wrap around the stainless steel balconies and/or cleats and are threaded through a ladder lock buckle, then tightened firmly. (The ladder lock is the flat buckle you find on backpacks, for example)
- Bungee cords that wrap around the stainless steel balconies and/or cleats passing through eyelets.

Each cover is custom-made, as we take into account your boat’s nautical equipment (photos required). Nautical equipment includes: bimini, arches, roll bar, tow mast, navigation lights, antenna, etc. Please specify any particular features when ordering.

This protective tarpaulin is to be used on land or at mooring. It should not remain on the boat during transport for two reasons: first, for safety, the cover should not come loose; second, friction caused by speed could damage the boat’s surface, causing premature wear.

It is important to note that the protection is not designed to withstand strong winds such as storms, cyclones, or hurricanes. It must be removed before bad weather.

Strong wind effects are amplified when the boat is on a cradle on land, meaning elevated and even more so if it is not facing the prevailing wind.
