Flat deck cover for Jeanneau Cap Camarat 6.5 CC S3

Using a mooring cover is one of the most effective ways to protect your boat from the sun’s rays, rain and other elements that can damage the hull and upholstery. Polyester is a material commonly used in boat construction. Although it is resistant to UV rays, it can deteriorate over time due to exposure to the elements. UV rays can cause polyester surfaces to fade and deteriorate. Using a mooring cover protects the polyester surface from UV rays, thereby extending the life of your boat.

When you invest in a Cap Camarat 6.5 CC S3, it is essential to protect it from the elements.

This full boat cover, covering the boat from bow to stern except for the guardrails, protects your boat from bad weather, dirt and UV-related damage.

Our boat cover is made to suit your preference, either:

• from marine-grade polyester tarpaulin, coated on both sides and weighing 325 g/m².
• or from polyester fabric with a woven-fabric appearance

To ensure a secure fit, all existing attachment points on the boat are used, avoiding the need to drill holes.

The marine fabric is secured at the cleats and guardrail bases using either:
- Straps that wrap around the stainless-steel guardrails and/or cleats, then pass through a ladder-lock buckle. Pull the strap tight to secure it. (A ladder-lock buckle is the flat buckle commonly found on backpacks, for example.)
- Bungee cords that wrap around the stainless-steel guardrails and/or cleats and pass through eyelets.

Each cover is custom-made, taking into account the boating equipment on your boat (photos required). This includes equipment such as a bimini top, frames, roll bar, towing mast, navigation light, antenna, etc. Please specify any relevant details when placing your order.

This protective cover is designed for use on land or at anchor. It must be removed before transporting the boat for two reasons: first, for safety, as the cover could come loose; and second, friction caused by travelling at speed could damage the boat’s surface and lead to premature wear.

Please note that the cover is not designed to withstand strong winds such as those during storms, cyclones or hurricanes. It must be removed before severe weather arrives.

Strong winds have a greater effect when the boat is ashore on a cradle, where it is elevated, and even more so if it is not facing the prevailing wind.
