Polyester is a commonly used material in boat construction. Although it is UV resistant, it can degrade over time due to exposure to the elements. UV rays can cause fading and deterioration of the polyester surface. Using a mooring cover protects the polyester surface from UV rays, thereby extending the lifespan of your boat.

Our boat cover is made to your specifications, either:

• in marine-grade polyester tarpaulin coated on both sides, weighing 325g/m² and in gray color.
• or in polyester fabric which has the appearance of textile

We prioritize using the boat’s natural attachment points to secure the mooring cover. Thus, no drilling is required.

The marine fabric is secured at the cleats and the base of the railings either by:
- Straps that wrap around the stainless steel railings and/or cleats, which are threaded through a ladder lock buckle and then tightened firmly. (The ladder lock is the flat buckle you find on backpacks, for example)
- Bungee cords that wrap around the stainless steel railings and/or cleats passing through eyelets.

Each cover is custom-made, as we take into account your boat’s nautical equipment (photos required). Nautical equipment includes: bimini, arches, roll bar, tow mast, navigation lights, antenna, etc. Please specify any particular features when ordering.

This protective tarpaulin is to be used on land or at mooring. It should not remain on the boat during transport, for two reasons: first, for safety, to prevent the cover from coming loose; second, because friction caused by speed could damage the boat’s surface, causing premature wear.

It is important to note that the cover is not designed to withstand strong winds such as storms, cyclones, or hurricanes. It must be removed before bad weather.

Strong wind effects are amplified when the boat is on a cradle on land, meaning elevated, and even more so if it is not facing the prevailing wind.
