Flat Deck Cover for Prua Al Vento Jaguar 5.40

Using a mooring cover is one of the most effective ways to protect your boat from sunlight, rain, and other elements that can damage the hull and upholstery. Polyester is a commonly used material in boatbuilding. Although it is resistant to UV rays, it can deteriorate over time due to exposure to the elements. UV rays can cause discoloration and damage to the polyester surface. Using a mooring cover protects the polyester surface from UV rays, helping to extend the life of your boat.

This protective cover covers your boat from bow to stern, except for the rails. It is a perfect fit, reflecting the quality of its design and helping to protect your boat from the weather and sun for years to come.

Our boat cover is made to suit your preference, in either:

• Marine-grade polyester tarpaulin coated on both sides, weighing 325 g/m².
• Polyester fabric with a woven-fabric appearance

To keep the cover securely in place, we make use of all the existing attachment points on the boat, avoiding the need to drill holes.

The marine fabric is secured around the cleats and at the bases of the rails using either:
- Straps that wrap around the stainless-steel rails and/or cleats, then thread through a ladder-lock buckle and are tightened by pulling firmly. (A ladder-lock is the flat buckle commonly found on backpacks, for example.)
- Bungee cords that wrap around the stainless-steel rails and/or cleats and pass through eyelets.

Each cover is made to measure, taking into account your boat’s equipment (photos required). This includes equipment such as a bimini, bows, roll bar, ski pole, navigation light, antenna, etc. Please provide details of any specific requirements when placing your order.

This protective cover is intended for use on land or at anchor. It should not be left on the boat while it is being transported, for two reasons: first, for safety, as the cover could come loose; and second, because friction at speed could damage the boat’s surface and cause premature wear.

Please note that the cover is not designed to withstand strong winds, such as those during storms, cyclones, or hurricanes. It should be removed before severe weather arrives.

Strong winds have an even greater impact when the boat is elevated on a cradle ashore, especially if it is not facing into the prevailing wind.
