- A lightweight, double-sided coated polyester tarpaulin weighing 325 g/m² (half the weight of truck tarpaulin), in grey and easy to fold

- A lightweight, woven-look polyester fabric with a single-sided coating on the inside, weighing 300 g/m², very easy to fold and available in black (shown in our photo).

All seams are sewn with UV-treated sail thread, and polyester webbing is used for UV resistance.

For added strength: Reinforcements are added at the main high-contact areas.

Installation: The cover extends over the top of the boat down to the inside feet of the railings. It is generally secured around the cleats and railing feet with shock cord threaded through eyelets. To ensure a secure fit, all existing attachment points on the boat are used to avoid or minimise drilling. The engine is not covered. You can also fit your engine cover with a permanent cover featuring a vent.

Recommendations: For optimal use, this protective cover is designed for use while the boat is moored or on land. It must not be left on the boat during transport. There are two reasons for this: first, for safety, you must avoid the risk of the cover coming loose; second, friction at speed can damage the boat’s surface, causing premature wear.

Please note that the mooring cover is not designed to withstand severe winds, such as those associated with storms, cyclones and hurricanes, and must be removed before these weather events arrive. Strong winds are particularly dangerous when the boat is on land, resting on a cradle, as it is more exposed—especially if it is not facing into the prevailing wind.
