- Tarpaulin made from double-sided coated polyester. Lightweight at 325 g/m² (half the weight of truck tarpaulin), it folds easily.

- Woven-look fabric with a single-sided polyester coating on the inside. Lightweight at 300 g/m², it folds very easily and is black. (Our photo.)

All seams are sewn with UV-treated sail thread, and polyester webbing is used for UV resistance.

For added strength: reinforcements are added at key high-wear contact points.

Installation: The cover protects the top of the boat down to the inside bases of the railings. It is generally secured around the cleats and railing bases using shock cord threaded through eyelets. To ensure a secure fit, all existing attachment points on the boat are used wherever possible to avoid or minimise drilling. The engine is not covered. You can fit your engine cover with a permanent cover featuring a vent.

Recommendations: For optimal use, this protective cover is designed to be used while your boat is moored or ashore, but must not remain on the boat during transport. There are two reasons for this: first, for safety, you should avoid any risk of the cover coming loose; second, friction at speed can damage the boat’s surface, causing premature wear.

Please note that the mooring cover is not designed to withstand strong winds such as storms, cyclones or hurricanes, and should be removed before these weather events arrive. Strong winds are particularly dangerous when the boat is ashore on a cradle, as it is more exposed, especially if it is not facing into the prevailing wind.
