- A tarpaulin made from double-sided coated polyester. Lightweight at 325 g/m² (half the weight of truck tarpaulin), it folds easily.

- A woven-look fabric made from single-sided coated polyester on the inside. Lightweight at 300 g/m², it folds very easily and comes in black (as shown in our photo).

All seams are sewn with UV-treated sail thread, and polyester webbing is used for UV resistance.

For added strength: reinforcements are added at the main stress points.

Installation: The cover extends over the top of the boat down to the inside bases of the guardrails. It is usually secured around the cleats and guardrail bases with shock cord threaded through eyelets. To ensure a secure fit, we make use of all the boat’s existing attachment points to avoid or minimize drilling. The engine is not covered. You can fit your engine cover with a permanent cover featuring a vent.

Recommendations: For optimal use, this protective cover is designed for use while moored or on land, and should not be left on the boat during transport. There are two reasons for this: firstly, for safety reasons, it is important to avoid the risk of the cover coming loose; secondly, friction caused by speed can damage the boat’s surface, leading to premature wear.

Please note that the mooring cover is not designed to withstand strong winds such as those associated with storms, cyclones and hurricanes, and should be removed before these weather events arrive. Strong winds are especially dangerous when the boat is on land on a cradle, as it is more exposed, particularly if it is not facing into the prevailing wind.
