Description
Benefit: This full boat cover, from bow to stern except for the balconies, protects your boat from bad weather, external dirt, and UV-related damage. Save time on maintenance to enjoy more time sailing. Extend the longevity and value of your boat.
Product advantages: Shipped within 10 days. Customizable to your boat's configuration. Tear-resistant.
Material: We use the best materials to guarantee you a strong and durable product.
All successfully fulfill the function of protecting your boat.
The choice depends on the material and therefore its price.
- Tarp made of double-sided coated polyester, lightweight at 325 g/m² (half the weight of a truck tarp), which folds easily (see our photo)
- Woven look with single-sided coated polyester on the inside, lightweight 300 g/m², folds very easily.
Assembly is always done with UV-treated sail thread and polyester webbing also resistant to UV.
To increase durability: reinforcements added at the main sensitive contact points.
Installation: The cover protects the top of the boat down to the inner feet of the balconies. The fabric is generally secured at cleats and balcony feet by elastic cords passing through eyelets. To ensure its hold, all naturally existing attachment points on the boat are utilized to avoid or limit drilling. The engine is not covered. It is possible to equip your engine hood with a permanent cover with a vent.
Customization according to your boat’s specific features (photos required). By specific features, we mean: bimini, arches, roll bar, towing mast, navigation lights, antenna, etc. Please indicate these specifics when ordering.
Recommendations: The mooring cover should be used on land or at mooring but must not remain on the boat during transport for two reasons: first, for safety to prevent the cover from detaching; and second, to avoid premature wear caused by friction from speed during transport.
It is important to note that the mooring cover is not designed to withstand strong winds such as storms, cyclones, or hurricanes, and must be removed before such weather arrives. Additionally, wind force is amplified when the boat is on a cradle on land, especially if it is not facing the prevailing wind.
Cap Camarat boats are high-end recreational vessels manufactured by the French company Jeanneau. Designed to offer exceptional performance at sea while ensuring optimal comfort on board, these boats are highly appreciated by water sports enthusiasts, fishermen, and cruisers.
When investing in a Cap Camarat boat, it is essential to protect it from the elements to extend its lifespan. Using a mooring cover is one of the most effective ways to protect your boat. The mooring cover is a full cover that protects the boat from sun rays, rain, and other natural elements that can damage the hull and upholstery.
Protecting the upholstery and polyester of the boat is one of the main reasons to use a mooring cover. Upholstery includes cushions, seats, and other fabric accessories on board. When exposed to the elements, upholstery can fade, degrade, and deteriorate quickly. By using a custom tarp, you protect your upholstery from sun rays, rain, wind, and other natural elements that can damage it.
Polyester is a commonly used material for boat construction. Although resistant to UV rays, it can deteriorate over time due to exposure to the elements. UV rays can cause fading and degradation of the polyester surface. By using a mooring cover, you protect the polyester surface from UV rays and extend your boat’s lifespan.
In addition to protecting upholstery and polyester, using a mooring cover offers other benefits. By protecting your boat with a full cover, you also reduce the accumulation of dirt and debris, making cleaning easier. You also protect your boat from rain damage. Ultimately, using a mooring cover helps protect your investment and gives you more hours spent sailing rather than cleaning.
