Product benefits: Ships within 10 days. Can be customised to fit your boat’s configuration. Tear-resistant.
Material: We use the finest materials to ensure a durable, hard-wearing product.
All materials successfully protect your boat.
Your choice depends on the material and, therefore, the price.
- Tarpaulin made from double-coated polyester. Lightweight at 325 g/m² (half the weight of truck tarpaulin) and easy to fold (pictured)
- Woven-look fabric made from single-coated polyester, with the coated side on the inside. Lightweight at 300 g/m² and very easy to fold.
All seams are sewn with UV-treated sail thread, and polyester webbing is used for UV resistance.
For added strength: reinforcements are added at the main points of contact that are prone to wear.
Installation: The cover extends over the top of the boat down to the inner bases of the guardrails. The fabric is generally secured around the cleats and the bases of the guardrails using shock cord threaded through eyelets. To ensure a secure fit, all existing attachment points on the boat are used to avoid or minimise drilling. The engine is not covered. You can have a permanent ventilated cover fitted to your engine cowl.
Customisation to suit your boat’s features (photos required). These features include: bimini, frame, roll bar, ski tow pylon, navigation light, antenna, etc. Please specify any features when placing your order.
Recommendations: The mooring cover should be used on land or at anchor, but should not be left on the boat during transport for two reasons: first, for safety, to prevent the cover from coming loose; and second, to prevent premature wear to the boat caused by friction at transport speeds.
Please note that the mooring cover is not designed to withstand strong winds such as those during storms, cyclones or hurricanes, and should therefore be removed before such weather arrives. In addition, wind force is amplified when the boat is on a stand on land, especially if it is not facing the prevailing wind.
Cap Camarat boats are premium recreational vessels manufactured by the French company Jeanneau. Designed to deliver outstanding performance at sea while ensuring optimal comfort on board, they are popular with water sports enthusiasts, anglers and cruisers.
When you invest in a Cap Camarat boat, it is essential to protect it from the elements to extend its lifespan. Using a mooring cover is one of the most effective ways to protect your boat. A mooring cover is designed to cover the entire boat and protect it from sunlight, rain and other natural elements that can damage the hull and upholstery.
Protecting your boat’s upholstery and polyester surfaces is one of the main reasons to use a mooring cover. Upholstery includes cushions, seats and other fabric accessories on board. When exposed to the elements, upholstery can fade, degrade and deteriorate quickly. Using a made-to-measure cover protects your upholstery from sunlight, rain, wind and other natural elements that can damage it.
Polyester is a commonly used material in boat construction. Although it is resistant to UV rays, it can deteriorate over time due to exposure to the elements. UV rays can cause discolouration and degradation of the polyester surface. Using a mooring cover protects the polyester surface from UV rays and extends your boat’s lifespan.
As well as protecting your upholstery and polyester surfaces, using a mooring cover offers other benefits. By protecting your boat with a full cover, you also reduce the build-up of dirt and debris, making it easier to clean. You also protect your boat from rain damage. Ultimately, using a mooring cover protects your investment and gives you more hours on the water instead of cleaning.
