A mooring cover is particularly useful for protecting your boat’s upholstery and polyester hull. The upholstery, including cushions, seats and other fabric accessories, is especially vulnerable to the elements, which can cause it to fade and deteriorate quickly. A custom-made cover protects the upholstery from UV rays, rain, wind and other elements that can damage it.
When you invest in an Activ 675 Open boat, it’s essential to protect it from the elements.
This protective cover covers your boat from bow to stern, except for the rails. It fits perfectly, a testament to its quality design, and will protect your boat from the elements and the sun for a long time.

Our boat cover is made to suit your preference, either:
- from marine-grade polyester tarpaulin, coated on both sides and weighing 325 g/m².
- or from polyester canvas with the look and feel of fabric
We make use of the boat’s existing natural attachment points to secure the mooring cover. This means no drilling is required.
The marine fabric is secured around the cleats and rail supports using either:
- Straps that wrap around the stainless-steel rails and/or cleats, then thread through a ladder-lock buckle. Pull the strap tight to secure it. (A ladder-lock buckle is the flat buckle commonly found on backpacks, for example.)
- Bungee cords that pass through eyelets and wrap around the stainless-steel rails and/or cleats.

Each cover is made to measure, taking into account the nautical equipment on your boat (photos required). Nautical equipment includes a bimini, frame, roll bar, tow pylon, navigation light, antenna, etc. Please specify any particular requirements when placing your order.
This protective cover is designed for use on land or at anchor. It should not be left on the boat while it is being transported for two reasons: first, for safety, as the cover could come loose; and second, friction caused by speed could damage the boat’s surface and lead to premature wear.
Please note that the cover is not designed to withstand strong winds, such as those caused by storms, cyclones or hurricanes. It should be removed before these weather events arrive.
Strong winds have an even greater effect when the boat is ashore on a cradle, meaning it is raised off the ground, especially if it is not facing into the prevailing wind.
