Winter Cover Bombard Explorer 550

The winter cover for the Explorer 550 rigid inflatable boat is an essential piece of equipment to protect your boat from bad weather, UV rays, and dirt during the winter months or when it is not used for an extended period.

Since it is easy to handle, you can also put it back on between launches during the season.

The boat cover made by SNA is made from a high-quality marine material, consisting of polyester coated with PVC on both sides and lightweight, 325g/m², which is half the weight of a truck tarp. The color is gray.

The cover protects the entire boat, from the front (the bow roller, which remains accessible in 95% of our covers) to the transom, excluding the engine so it can be fully raised. You will find covers for your outboard motor on our website.
The tarp is attached to the float's fender (also called the anti-chafing strip, which absorbs shocks so the float does not come into direct contact) by hooks held together with a bungee cord. For balanced fastening, the bungee (thick elastic) passes through eyelets distributed around the entire perimeter of the tarp. To prevent the stainless steel eyelets from contacting the float, we sew a PVC fabric flap underneath the eyelets. The plastic hooks attach to the gutter located under the fender. You will notice that installing the boat cover requires no drilling.

Bimini and roll-bar options should be indicated by selecting the option when adding the product to your cart. There is also a measurement form to fill out so we can plan the necessary openings for the roll-bar legs.

The boat cover is equipped with a vent to ensure ventilation under the cover.

All seams are made with UV-resistant sail thread, ensuring very long durability for the covers.

Please note that this full cover must be removed before driving on the road.
