The protective cover for this captain's seat is designed and manufactured in Brittany by SNA, the expert in nautical outdoor protection.
The seat's faux leather is thus protected from UV rays otherwise it ends up fading, cracking, and then tearing.

It is made from the best materials to guarantee you a durable and resistant product.

We offer you a choice of three materials to suit all budgets. All three materials are waterproof, and the main difference lies in their air tightness. If it is airtight, condensation occurs.

- Choose the best quality/price compromise with our lightweight technical tarp weighing 325g/m², featuring a double PVC coating. Waterproof and easy to maintain, it provides effective protection against UV rays and marine conditions for your leaning post. Available in gray, but note that due to its tarp nature, slight condensation may occur.

- There will be no condensation with dralon, which is a genuine woven fabric made of mass-dyed acrylic threads. So, a textile that is waterproof, breathable, and does not fade under UV exposure.

- And the compromise with a polyester material, which is very durable, has a woven appearance, is waterproof, and slightly breathable.

The assembly is done with UV-treated sail thread and polyester webbing that also resists UV rays.

Boat fastenings are included.

Installation: The fastening depends on the bolster configuration. Either there are handles or space under the seat, in which case the attachments are usually made with straps and quick-release buckles, or the leaning post is compact. In the latter case, the solution to ensure the cover does not fly off is to screw two pad eyes at the front, through which a strap with a ladder lock closure (flat plastic buckle like on backpacks) will pass, and the same at the back.
