Ribcraft 6.8 Jockey Seat Cover
Choose this custom-made cover crafted in Brittany that perfectly fits your 6.8.
No surprises, it is a Premium manufacturing by SNA, the expert in marine protections. Your bench seat will be durably protected with this waterproof and durable cover.
Description
The cover protects the seat and/or the backrest of your boat seat.
When the seat cushion is removable, the cover only protects the backrest, which can be stored.
It is essential to cover the seat's vinyl between each use. Without protection against UV rays, water, and salty air, the coating will fade, crack, and split, allowing water to penetrate the foam and the plastic or wooden supports, which will deteriorate.
Our assembly techniques guarantee our covers tear resistance, wind resistance, and waterproofing. They fold and store easily.
The materials we use are all marine-grade. We use the best to ensure you a durable product.
All successfully fulfill the function of protecting your boat.
The choice depends on the material and therefore its price.
- Tarpaulin, which is a double-sided coated polyester, lightweight at 325 g/m² (half the weight of truck tarpaulin), gray color, folds easily. It is important to note that a tarpaulin cover is waterproof and offers excellent value for money; however, it may cause condensation to form.
- Woven look with single-sided coated polyester on the inside, lightweight at 300 g/m², folds easily. This material offers optimal waterproofing while allowing slight breathability.
- Fabric, which is a weave of solution-dyed acrylic threads, lightweight at 320 g/m², less flexible to fold when new. This textile has the advantage of being both waterproof and breathable, helping to prevent condensation formation.
Assembly is always done with UV-treated sail thread and polyester webbing that also resists UV.
The necessary fasteners for screwing onto the boat are always included, including stainless steel screws.
