All seams are sewn with UV-treated sail thread, and the straps are made of polyester to also resist UV rays.

To tighten the cover and prevent flapping in the wind, adjustable straps pass through a screwed plastic eyelet. Boat fasteners are included, with stainless steel screws. For each supplied plastic loop, we include 2 stainless steel sheet metal screws with a shaft diameter of 3.5mm and a length of 16mm. Drilling should be done with a 2.7mm diameter bit.
